RESPECT - CLASS PROTOCOLS

1. People come to practice tai chi for their health. This is the primary purpose of the Academy classes and instruction. Some members and students suffer from lung or allergy disorders that can be quite severe. Please, let's respect their limitations and challenges as everyone endeavours to respect ours and assist them in using tai chi to possibly contribute to improving the challenging lung or allergy conditions. (scroll down) PLEASE DO NOT WEAR SCENTS, PERFUMES OR AROMATIC SUBTANCES 2. People come to tai chi for a safe place to practice for pleasure or for their own health/self-therapy IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS, PLEASE KEEP THEM AT HOME IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT SYMPTOMS PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL AND PUT ON A MASK 3. People generally wish to practice in a calm and safe place. PLEASE RESPECT OTHERS SPACE AND EVERONE'S WISH TO PRACTICE WITH CALM AND QUIET SURROUNDINGS WE ALL CAN CONTRIBUTE TO MAKING SHARED PRACTICE AREAS A SAFE SPACE EVERYONE. PLEASE JOIN IN BY DOING OUR OWN PART IN MAKING IT A SAFE, EDUCATIONAL AND REWARDING EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE 4. If you have concerns or questions about the safe space to practice, please speak with the instructor after class. Any confrontations are not suitable during class time. We will make every effort to resolve any issues within a reasonable time and with the interests of the group in mind. We spare no effort in providing these Taoist Arts handed down to us by Master Moy and will endeavour to provide them in a safe and rewarding environment with everyone tending to each other's needs in mind. Thank you.
